How to light your cast 101:
Step one: Get a cast. Preferably a prop one so no injury is required. For this demonstration a real cast was used.
Huh. That doesn't seem to show the color very well. Let's put a filter on that.
Step 2: Make it home in one piece. Good job.
Step 3: take a practice picture of the cast.
Not bad, but not the effect we are looking for.
Step 4: find the proper lighting for the mood you want to set. Once found, position your cast and take a picture.
Step 5: posted the picture as needed to let people know that you are okay, or to show off your awesome positioning and lighting skills.
